This page documents our general terms of use for users of Petterz.

Basic Terms of Use

  1. You must be at least 13 years or older to use this website
  2. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your given profile name, or pet name(s)
  3. You may not use services on Petterz for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You and all other users agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content
  4. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your data used to log in to Petterz (email address and password)
  5. You will not send unwanted private messages through Petterz (spam)

General Terms of Use

  1. Petterz reserves the right, in it's discretion, to update or revise the Terms and Conditions. Please check periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes to the Terms of Use constitutes acceptance of those changes.
  2. Petterz reserves the right, in accordance with applicable laws, to refuse service to anyone for any reason.
  3. We may, but have no obligation to, remove content and accounts containing content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Use.
  4. We reserve the right to, at any time; reclaim usernames on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames.

1. Privacy

Visitors that are not registered on Petterz do not have the ability to access any of your uploaded or generated content or personal data. When you are registered on Petterz, you will be able to see other users personal data such as:
  • Profile Picture
  • Name
  • Gender
  • Birthday
  • Address
  • Pets:
    • Profile Picture
    • Species
    • Gender
    • Birthday
Once you become friends with another user, their data and generated content will be visible to you and you will share your dat with him or her.

2. Safety

Of course, we do everything we can to keep Petterz as safe as possible for all users, but we cannot guarantee it. To keep Petterz as safe as possible, we need you to understand the following restrictions on you, the user of Petterz:

- You will not send or post spam on Petterz

- You will not collect user's information

- You will not upload viruses or malicious code

- You will not log in to somebody elses account

- You will not offend any other user

- You are not allowed to post something that is pornographic, violent, or hatefull

- You will not modify, adapt or hack into Petterz or modify any other website to imply that it is associated with Petterz

3. Your Shared Information and Published Content

We do not allow you to upload Copyrighted material. If you do so, you will be made responsible for this and if we notice, you will receive a warning. If you ignore this warning, your account, including your content and information will be deleted. All the data you send to Petterz, stays at Petterz. We will not share, sell or distribute your content to third-party commercial companies.

4. Other

YOU WILL USE PETTERZ AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE CAN NOT BE MADE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS OR DAMAGES.

5. Definitions

Petterz: By Petterz, we mean the service that we provide to our users, the owners of pets, which is accessible via http://www.petterz.com/.

Friend: By friend, we mean, the user of Petterz, with who you have a "virtual friendship".

Petget: By Petget, we mean a virtual sticker, which can be sticked on friends' walls.

Shared Content: By shared Content and data, we mean, all you send to Petterz, and thereby our servers.
